Everyone has been touched by a birth story. Birth stories influence what we believe, trust, and fear. Processing our birth stories should be an integral part of prenatal and postpartum care. During this uplifting three-and-a half day retreat you will experience several transformative birth story processes. Seeing is understanding: witness the discovery of hidden healings during live demonstrations.
You will also experience and learn:
- A heart meditation
- The power of healing in small group sessions with the Shell in the Labyrinth
- To follow the “map” of the heroic journey while leading a birth story session
- Turn a story using mythopoetic inquiry
- How to lessen birth shock and trauma
- Learn from studies how processing birth stories influences birth outcomes
- Birth story in the body: Restoring health and harmony after a traumatic birth
- Microbiome, diet, and trauma recovery
- Dinner and storytelling in the high desert

Refund Policy: Non-refundable administration fee of $150.00 on all cancellations before 28 days. If cancellation received in writing 7 to 28-days before first day of event refund will be 50 percent of all-inclusive fee. No refunds within 6 days of event.
Before Making Airline Reservation, keep in mind:
Synergia Ranch is 20 miles from the Santa Fe airport and about 45 miles from Albuquerque. You can fly into the Santa Fe or Albuquerque Sunport Airport. A facebook group will be formed prior to the retreat where you will have the opportunity to coordinate carpooling with other participants. We value the container we co-create in retreat, so we ask that participants stay until the closing at 4 pm on May 18: please make your departure time accordingly. Consider arriving or staying an extra day or several days to enjoy Santa Fe and the Southwest (see possibilities below).
