Ancient Map for Modern Pregnancy weaves together art, science, meditations, ceremonies, and the telling of mythic stories. As a pregnant woman, you will benefit from both the ancient and modern maps that points to the tasks and pathways through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
It is human nature to want to know how to get from "here to there" without getting lost. As a pregnant woman, you inherited our culture's "modern map" of birth, which is useful for navigating routine medical and consumer tasks. Yet you may feel something is missing -- that there is something more. When we show you the ancient map, which reveals the hidden terrain, you will intuitively feel your inner compass pointing to your true self and inner knowing.
Our prenatal-birth classes are offered in two parts.
The first part is called: RIGHT FROM THE START: MY FIRST 28 WEEKS,
Our second, THE LAST 12 WEEKS:PREPARATION FOR BIRTH, BABY, and POSTPARTUM.
Ideally you'll begin with The First 28 Weeks, but no worries if you find us later you can still join The Last 12 Weeks.
Four Ways to Participate in This Prenatal Program
Videos, Journal, Community Meetings/Classes & Personal Consultation
You can join any time from the moment you discover you are pregnant up to 28 weeks. Choose one, two, three, or all four.
1. Watch videos on your own
2. Attend the community online led by Pam or Nicole to discuss a topic, talk through the unexpected, participate in a storytelling or an activity.
3. Read and write in our new Journal
4. Schedule a private session with Pam or Nicole.
